January 2019 – Recently completed expansion of the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLC was the lead architect. Sherwood worked in collaboration with the design team to incorporate a number of systems that will certify the Moscone Center as San Francisco’s first eco-district. Many of these systems are visible ecological systems that were incorporated throughout the project to help use and detain stormwater, enhanced by educational signage, visitors are encouraged to interact with the additional 12,000 square-feet of new public open space.
