In a spellbinding setting surrounding the largest, deepest lake in Idaho, Sherwood helped to shape the engineering components of a comprehensive land-use plan for a 904-acre site on wooded, mountainous terrain. Sherwood performed the role of master engineer for all road and driveway engineering, site grading, and stormwater management for this extensive land development project. To preserve the remote feeling of the locale, we assisted with a master plan that nestles a full-service spa, 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, and a rustic rock-and-timber clubhouse among the majestic pines surrounding the lake. We developed grading and drainage plans for the roads, designed an extensive network of hiking and biking trails, and established open space areas to improve access on the site while maintaining privacy for homes and cabins.
