Sherwood was honored to be part of the Semarang Water as Leverage team and part of the Water as Leverage for Resilient Cities Asia program instigated by The Special Envoy for International Water Affairs, Henk Ovink and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. Sherwood developed water reuse concepts from large to small scale, supported by calculations of water supply and demand for domestic and industrial sectors. Sherwood led the framework for the Resilient Kampung (“neighborhood”) to indicate how neighborhoods can engage stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and the development of resilient open space to increase overall resilience of neighborhoods across Semarang, from upland to lowland areas.
