Sonoma Farm

Sherwood Design Engineers collaborated with multiple team members, including various architects, permaculturalist, energy engineers and the general contractor in developing a very sensitive development. The property is over 20 acres located in East Sonoma, flanked by vineyards and sensitive ecological systems. Sherwood’s role as the lead sustainability consultant and record engineer helped shape a very sustainable compound incorporating, geothermal system, solar energy, living roofs, rainwater capture for reuse and on-site natural stormwater management systems that reduce predevelopment runoff rates from entering the creek that runs through the property.
