Alex Cabrera
Alex graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and has work experience in construction management. Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing philosophy was deeply rooted in my coursework, providing both academic excellence and creative field experiences such as U.S. Department of Energy-funded research focused on developing feasible methods of using algae biomass as feedstock for energy production. In addition to my formal education, he has gained valuable hands-on experience as a Project Engineer for a heavy civil contractor working on public utilities, bridges, and concrete structures around the Bay Area.
