Bianca Oviedo Lorío

Bianca is a civil engineer graduated from the University of Costa Rica, where she emphasized her studies in hydrology and hydraulics. This led her to present her research on sediment transport at the 2022 River Flow International Conference (Kingston and Ottawa, Canada). However her passion in infrastructure design, involves that and much more. Bianca has designed infrastructure for important industrial, residential, commercial and tourist projects. Bianca, together with other collaborators, has published several guides on the inspection of road works for the National Laboratory of Materials and Structural Models (LANAMME)

Fun facts: Bianca is an adventurer who enjoys skydiving, hiking, canopying, rafting and of course the beautiful landscapes offered in her country Costa Rica.
