Jon Keim-Shenk
Jon comes to Sherwood after being a consulting engineer working extensively with the Philadelphia Water Department’s Green City, Clean Waters program, where he was the lead designer for half a dozen Green Stormwater Infrastructure projects. Jon was also involved in multiple projects with the Watershed Restoration Program in Anne Arundel, Maryland, a bicycle/pedestrian green corridor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and other stormwater management projects in the mid-atlantic region. Jon’s experience ranges from high level planning, conceptual design, and BMP siting to development of final construction documents and construction administration. Jon received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, with a minor in Sustainability in the Built Environment.
Fun Facts: Jon is a “non-motorized wheeled vehicle” enthusiast, and spends most of his free time mountain biking, mountain unicycling, bikepacking (backpacking on a bike), gravel biking and road biking. Jon has helped plan and built 5 community pantries in Philadelphia and cares for a cat with “wobbly cat syndrome” (cerebellar hypoplasia) named Cow.
