Kevin Cardenas

Design Engineer

Kevin Cardenas received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a B.A. in Computer Science from CUNY Queens College. Kevin’s engineering coursework focused on water resources and environmental engineering. Prior to graduating, Kevin interned at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection and worked on research and upgrades for wastewater and drinking water infrastructure. After graduating, Kevin worked in environmental remediation and gained experience on projects involving groundwater, soil, and soil vapor treatment. Kevin is excited to start working on sustainability-oriented projects at Sherwood.

Fun Facts: Kevin was born in Ecuador and moved to New York at the age of 2. In his free time, he enjoys exploring cities, trying new coffee spots, and volunteering with local organizations.
